Most of the homework will be set on Seesaw on a Friday to be completed for the following week. Please make sure to check regularly for any new tasks that have been set or for any feedback that has been given.
The tasks set will give the children the opportunity to get extra practise of concepts or skills taught in class as well as to deepen their understanding.
If you have any problems accessing Seesaw, please let me know.
Spellings will be set each week and will be tested on a Friday.
Please make sure that you are practising them at least three times (and not just on a Thursday night).
This year, most of the children will be asked to spell the words within a sentence (which will be dictated to them).
The children should be reading as often as possible at home (daily is the aim). Please remember to leave a small note in their orange reading diary as this helps us to monitor progress, give support when needed and know when they are due a new reading book. Usually, reading books will be changed once the children have read the book twice at home.
