READING

Your child will be bringing home a reading book to share with you at home. Please sign the reading record when you have heard your child read and indicate which pages they read. Children need to bring their reading book and record into school daily.

Reading books will be changed on Monday and Friday.  

SPELLINGS

Your child will be provided with spelling activities to complete at home. Please encourage your child to completes this and practises their spellings.

PE

Your child will have PE on a Wednesday afternoon. Children will need to come to school in their PE kits.

Your child will have swimming on a Tuesday morning. Therefore, children will need to bring their swimming costume, towel and swimming hat with them.

HOMEWORK

Your child will have a home learning project to complete each half term. Children will have homework journal to record their homework. Projects will be celebrated at the end of each half term.

MATHS

In Year 4,  your child will complete a ‘Multiplication Tables Check’.
