I have noticed lately that the majority of the children who I have seen work from or that are in school are struggling with their letter formation and handwriting at the moment. It is really important that children learn how to form letters correctly as this will set them up for when the time comes to write in cursive, but also helps in presenting work neatly and showing pride in what they have achieved.
This week I would like you all to take time practicing handwriting and letter formation. You can do this by focusing on particular letters that you find difficult, or if you are already fairly confident use it as an opportunity to practice neat presentation and spellings.
Attached you will find some activities with words to practice - please not that on one of the sheets the words are written in cursive - this is not expected to be completed in this way but if you are confident and would like to have a go, please feel free.
If you are unsure of how to correctly form letters, please refer back to one of the earlier videos that were posted.
