IMPORTANT NEWS – Reception, Year 1 & 2 Children
Reception, year 1 and 2 children are entitled to universal free school meals, funded by the Government.
PLEASE NOTE – if you are entitled to ‘free school meals’ please continue to apply for these as this directly effects the amount of funding the school receives to support the children with their learning. Please follow this link to see if you are eligible.
Payment Procedures – Children in Years 3, 4, 5 & 6
The school office is no longer able to accept cash. All payments should be made through the PupilAsset App or website, https://secure.pupilasset.com You will need to log on to the app to get a password and will create your own login. A lunch is currently £2.40 a day.
Using this system all meals can be paid for online. Contributions towards school trips may also be paid in this way. If you are having difficulties in logging on to this system, we are happy to support you in getting this up and running, please do not hesitate to call Mrs Hall in the school office.
Lunches are well prepared from a healthy menu using fresh, and ‘home-made’ ingredients. Please notify us if your child requires a vegetarian option or a school packed lunch. Meals are £2.40 (£12.00 per week) payable in advance on Mondays on Pupil Asset.
Children of parents in receipt of Income Support are entitled to have free meals. Claim forms are available from the school office.
If you wish your child to have a packed lunch, then please make sure it is boxed properly and any drink is in a strong leak proof container. Please note we are a NUT FREE and SESAME FREE school to ensure we can safeguard children who have severe allergies to these foods. Thank you for cooperating with this.
We are not able to store packed lunches under cold conditions.
Our meals are provided by Aspens.
