The Reading test paper is 60 minutes long and consists of 3 different texts for the children to read. It is therefore recommended that the children spend around 20 minutes on each section. There will be:

• One fiction text
• One non-fiction text
• One poetry text

The children should have 3 reading CGP books that they have taken home with them, along with a couple of practice papers. It would be brilliant if the children could have a go at some of these.
