PE:

Orwell Class have PE on Monday and Thursday. The children need to come to school dressed in their PE kits.

Reading: 

The children will be bringing home a reading book to share with you at home. Please sign the reading record when you have heard your child read. We will check your child's reading record daily so please ensure that they are in their book bags. Reading books will be changed on Monday and Friday.

Spellings:

Children will have weekly spellings to learn. These will be high frequency words and the common exception words. Spellings will be set via Seesaw every week on Fridays. Children will then be tested the following Friday. 

Times Tables:

Children are encouraged to practise their times tables using Hit the Button (https://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/hit-the-button). 

Homework:

Every term the children will be given a project to complete. This will be relevant to the learning taking place in the classroom. This will be shared on Seesaw but children will also be provided with a homework journal.
